Resources & Source Map

Check the record—not just the conclusion

The public site begins with formal records, clearly labels interpretation, and protects people who contributed private context.

This page is the map for formal circulation. It shows what belongs in the public record, how each source may be used, and what remains private.

Evidence discipline

Not every file has the same public role.

The classification protects accuracy and privacy while keeping the public argument traceable.

A

Official or formal IAF source

Leads public factual claims and can be named or linked after final source check.

B

First-hand record

Supports chronology and context after privacy, consent, and relevance review.

C

Private discussion or screenshot

Context only. Never published raw without explicit consent and a clear public-interest reason.

D

Derived analysis or working draft

Helps organise questions but is not presented as proof.

E

Website or visual asset

Explains the story visually and is not evidence of the underlying claim.

Language access

One record. Three reading languages.

English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese should carry the same claims, qualifications, and evidence references. Translation will never be used to change the substance for a particular audience.

EN

English

Current working and source-reference edition.

Available now
简

简体中文

Plain-language edition for Chinese-reading members.

Available now
繁

繁體中文

Equivalent edition using Traditional Chinese terminology.

Translation safeguard

The IAF Matters glossary now locks key terms such as governance, stewardship, member authority, assessor independence, Board accountability, and FICS role boundaries before the two Chinese editions are released.

What sits behind the privacy boundary

Members can see the nature of the record without exposing the people in it.

These categories show what the protected material helps us test. They do not promise automatic access, and they do not turn private discussion into public proof.

01

Formal but restricted IAF records

Member-only documents, Assessor briefings, formal FAQs, and IAF-domain correspondence help establish dates, stated rationales, reporting lines, and the organisation’s own account.

02

First-hand operational records

Dated correspondence and event-preparation records help test what participants were told, when decisions became visible, and which readiness or selection questions remained open.

03

Training and authority-boundary records

An archived public training post, Process Manager correspondence, and contemporaneous notes identify visible delivery roles and the unanswered authorisation chain. They do not, by themselves, prove the full governance arrangement.

04

Community pattern material

Survey responses, online meetings, chat groups, and meeting records help identify recurring questions and consequences. They are not used as opinion polling or allegations.

05

Sensitive historical context

Key events and background information are retained only for internal chronology and risk review. They are not publicly redistributed.

Need to ask about confidential verification?

Use the participation form to identify the protected source and explain what you need to verify. Submission does not grant document access; privacy, consent, safety, and relevance are reviewed first.
